THE HISTORY OF SCHIFINO LEGNAMI
The history of Schifino Legnami started more than fifty years ago, in Frascineto, a little town in the province of Cosenza, in the Calabria region, where in 1960 the Schifino family launched the factory for producing and distributing wood. Experience and passion of Schifino Legnami manufactures has always manifested itself in the quality of its products and attention to details. In a short time, the company started targeting national as well as international markets, initiated collaboration with different companies, almost 60, of which nowadays it is the leader. This network aims at strengthening the company and its commercial power: indeed, it can guarantee to business and individual clients a fast and straightforward service, respecting delivery and with the purpose of helping the clients at all the steps of purchase. Nowadays, Schifino Legnami has species and types of wood suitable for marine and construction sector, for DIY projects and interior design, working with almost 80 thousand cubic meters of timber every year, coming from Russia, Finland, West Africa and Sweden. After four generations, thanks to Pierluigi Schifino and his team, the company is still one of the leading firms in South Italy in production and commercialization of timber, in Italy and abroad.
